A project for a private client to oversee the re-design of a new office environment and build a collection of design pieces for the new space. The aim is to improve the experience for those who both work and visit the office, and to communicate the nature and interests of the company’s business within its office environment.

The client has invested significantly in contemporary architecture and design, but this has not, yet, been reflected in it's own office environment. This research-based project considers the company history as well as the history of the building in which the new office will be created. Working with matavai bay architects, the project investigates the current usage and feel of the company’s office environment before proposing new initiatives that can best communicate the interests of the company, as well as creating a benchmark for contemporary, sustainable office design.
